About BankWest

The Application Process

Happy banking is all about people – our customers and our employees. That’s why we take great care when it comes to recruitment. We have an obligation to our employees to recruit people who share our desire to rock the banking world.

With this in mind, our application process is comprehensive. Once you’ve applied for a role online, our recruitment team will be in touch and, if you’re successful, we may invite you for one or more interviews. Then, all that’s left is assessment, comprehensive background checks and the offer process, at which point you officially join our happy banking revolution.

Resume tips
To give your application the best chance of success, we recommend that it is accompanied by a resume that is no more than four pages long. It’s also a good idea to keep the formatting simple, using common fonts (e.g. Arial or Times New Roman) within a Microsoft Word or PDF format.

You should provide details of your employment history, including start and end dates, position titles, the name of employer(s) and your key responsibilities and achievements. Education and qualification details must also be noted, including dates and the names of the education institutions you’ve attended.

You can also provide the names and contact details of your referees at this stage, or you can do so later in the process when they are required.
